One 100% position with benefits starting on the date of hire. Variable shifts.
Must be available to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, call, and overtime as needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Both Thornton and Hillcrest perform surgical services in Neurology, Orthopedics, Urology, Plastics, general, Oncology, Head and Neck, Vascular and Open Heart, Gynecology. Additional services at Hillcrest include Trauma and Burn surgeries.
• Identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations.
• Directs and acts as resource to other members of the nursing team as assigned.
• Promotes compliance and support for policies.
Special Condition of Employment: Must possess a valid California RN license and a current BCLS certification. Recent Pacu or Critical care experience.
Qualifications:
• Must possess recent PACU experience or critical care experience as an RN
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have CA RN license and BLCS
• Must be able to work within a team environment.
